Sound of Music at Saints

Fiona is in Saint Georges' Musical the Sound of Music which is performing this week. The whole fam went to see it last night and she was fabulous! She played the mean nun Sister Berthe and had an amazing dead pan expression I couldn't stop laughing everytime she came on stage. I especially liked her line calling Maria "A flibbertijibbet!" in the song, 'How do you solve a problem like Maria.' Way to go Fif so proud!! I love this Musical and it was so awesome seeing it live in the theatre. Saints did an amazing job at the set it looked so so professional. It was also nice to go back to Saints and to the theatre where Heath and I performed in Oliver and the Fiddler on the Roof back in our high school days.

Although Ross and I were exhausted from Pender, we decided to go to the Sitka party on saturday night as we planned. It was so so fun and everyone had the most creative costumes!

BIKELOVE

How cute is this? I always have bike envy when Im walking along the street and see an adorable bike that I would want to own! With these you can let the person who owns the bike know how cute their bike is by sticking this note to the handlebar.

Halloween Pender Bender!

This Friday, I travelled to Pender Island to meet my good friends Mo and Mike along with a bunch more of our friends to celebrate Halloween out of the city. It was absolutely magical and so so fun! Mike's parents own this Mansion right on the water where we stayed for the night and enjoyed Saturday afternoon.
Hope you had a good Halloween weekend!

Two of my friends whose names are Nick are amazing DJs and played allll night in a massive room where we cleared away all the furniture.

Ross and I. Two of our worst nightmares, him in debt- has IOU notes all over him, me a clown
Frais and I! love this one

The next day, we went for a walk on the island past this old homestead to a point where we had to wade through water to get to. It was gorgeous and so refreshing to stretch our legs, even if it meant getting them a little wet!

decided to climb an arbutus tree. both one of our favourite trees!

After the walk, we had a fabulous lunch made of all the leftovers from the potluck before

When we waited for the ferry, Ross serenaded us! xo
